Nothing to say but it used to be Nothing to say but it used to be ..What can I do What can I do ..What ..  어쩌란 말인가    스모키는 1969년 당시 고교생이던 크리스 노먼(보컬), 앨런 실슨(기타,하모니카),테리 우틀리(베이스),피터 스펜서(드럼) 등 4명이 "엘리자베스"라는 이름으로 그룹을 결성했다가 1974년 지금의 이름으로 바꿨다. 1976년말 발표한 "Living Next Door To Alice"가 세계적으로 크게 히트한 이후 여성로커 수지 쿼트로와 함께 부른 "Stumblin" In"을 비롯해 "What Can I Do","Mexican Girl"등으로 1980년대초까지 많은 인기를 누렸다. 특히 보컬 크리스 노먼의 심장 저 끝에서 끌어 올린듯한 목소리,,, 이들의 음악에 특히 지금 나오는 What Can I Do, 영어도 모르던 어린시절에, What Can I Do 만 외치면서 다니던 그시절이 생각납니다...     지금 흐르는 곡은 '79년 히트곡 'What Can I Do'입니다.
